The enthusiastic kitchen team at Hotel Rockenschaub love to enchant you with their wonderful creations every day. The motto is: local ingredients and traditional dishes from the Mühlviertel, flavoured with plenty of sophistication and zeitgeist. Of course, there are also light dishes in the Rockenschaub kitchen, depending on your taste, and the basic rule is: ingredients from the region, primarily organic quality and without artificial flavourings. A real feast for the palate and the eyes awaits you here.

Breakfast and dinner from the region

As part of the half-board programme, we provide you with a regional breakfast and dinner every day. In the morning from 8:00 – 10:00 am (from April – October from 7:30 am) and in the evening from 6:00 – 7:00 pm (from April – October until 7:30 pm) you will be served excellent creations from our kitchen every day. Enjoy the flavours of the Mühlviertel in a modern, creative way and let your senses be enchanted.

Do you have visitors who would like to join you for dinner? External guests are always welcome to book the 4-course menu of their choice, a single dish from the menu or a candlelight dinner with us. In addition, on Saturdays and Sundays we offer you the opportunity to join in the morning pint with the best atmosphere and company until 12:00 noon.

Of course, we know that after such an eventful holiday your stomach won’t start growling until dinner time. That’s why our restaurant opens daily from 15:00 and provides you with hot and cold snacks and pastries. We do not offer à la carte dishes at lunchtime or for dinner.

We attach great importance to sustainability, regionality, variety and quality of products and it is a personal concern of ours that our dishes and the breakfast buffet reflect this: You can expect a rich buffet with jour pastries fresh from the oven, fresh fruit, bread from the bakery next door and regional sausage and cheese specialities. Breakfast highlights at Hotel Rockenschaub are guaranteed to include Franz’s homemade jams and breakfast eggs from the Mühlviertel alpine pasture.
